Well…that was…interesting. Ok, so the Aussies ran off the Covenant after the Covenant posted bounties on various marsupials (they couldn't handle them not reproducing the way the rest of the world did apparently). And… the h was one of THEM. The H was one of the Prices - undercover more or less. And the two of them were hiding things from each other (mostly because they were under the misconception that the other would freak out at the sight of say… a talking mouse or whatever).
That's a new take on The Great Misunderstanding. At least they came clean with each other.
Slight detour - subspecies are generally fully fertile with each other. Then again, their differences are often so minor as to be largely undetectable without benefit of a microscope or DNA analysis. So either the various gorgons are subspecies - or they aren't. If they're fully species in their own right, then… the whole subspecies thing is a bit overdone. Also, offspring of mules and hinnys tend to take on the characteristics of the sire.
Just a bit of grumbling there...
