The Many Sins of Lord Cameron - Jennifer Ashley Well. After the previous book, this was quite the improvement.

First, the h is genuinely nice, and second, the H, in spite of his past, was neither a pushover, nor a jerk. I worried briefly that he was going to push her into an affair which would have messed up her reputation but no, he surprised me (and her, possibly himself as well) with a hasty marriage.

There was no living bad guy; just some unpleasant memories. The apparent villainess was merely a woman wanting out of an unhappy marriage - resolved in the first half of the book. So all that remained was the H/h coming to know each other. Nice. Let's hope the next book in the series doesn't annoy me.
